Light Cavalry was the most important element in Venezuelan independence war, ofc along with British Legions as is described in Carabobo Battle. You should consider depict famous Paez's"Llaneros".
ReplyDeleteHello. Yes, we have llaneros cavalry figures at the casting service now. They should be available in a few weeks.

ReplyDeleteThere is also a difference between Spanish and Royalist (Realistas), Patriots and Royalist included Spanish and Natives equally. Although Upper ranks in Patriots tend to be Native (Simon Bolivar) while Royalist were Spaniards.
ReplyDeleteYes, by the end of the wars probably 90% of the Royalist forces were native to South America (except the senior officers). The mutiny of the Spanish Army in Cadiz in 1820 ensured that no more Spanish troops were shipped to South America. On the Patriot side most of the troops were native, and even in the British Legion up to 50% of the troops were probably native by 1820.
DeleteCan you make Spanish infantry too?
