New pictures of Spanish centre company greens

I just though I would share with you the first pictures of the completed Spanish centre company sculpts. This figures match the Spanish flank company figures, all figures with the short jackets common to many of the Spanish units campaigning in South America.

These can be painted as tropical brin uniforms (all in white/cream), or as more standard uniforms, and can be used for the Spanish in all campaigns. The Spanish troops often had covered shakos, though the advantage of this is that they can also be used for units in the various Patriot armies, either in the Northern campaigns of Bolivar or the Southern campaigns of San Martin in Chile and Peru.

A command pack is now being sculpted, and all the packs for this unit will then be cast and released. We are hoping that these will be available by the start of September.

  5. Excellent, I'm very impressed all round by the quality of these figures. Really looking forward to the next batch.

Would Spanish Cavalry be on the cards at some time in the future? Union Dragoons would be very useful.

    1. Hello Paul, yes Spanish Cavalry (including the Union Dragoons) are on our sculpting list, the basic cavalry units appearing later this year. If there is enough demand, we can bring the Union Dragoons forward.

    1. Hello Rob, we are just finishing the command packs for both the Spanish and Gran Colombians (they should be done any day now). Then we'll start casting the figures. We're slightly behind schedule, but I anticipate that they will be up for sale during September.
